Billing and Collections Specilaist

This role will be responsible for billing and collection related tasks including, but not limited to, the collections on overdue accounts in accordance with deadlines within Flex pipe’s policies and procedures, reconciling and resolving account payments and disputes, preparation of invoices and assisting with month end activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accounts receivable invoices, credits and adjustments.
• Obtaining approvals as per DOA for invoices, credits and adjustments.
• Assisting with GL entries, GL account reconciliation.
• Verification of sales tax compliance on invoices/credit notes
• Daily collection calls on overdue accounts
• Resolving complex reconciliation issues with customers and internal parties to expedite payment and ensure customer accounts are fully reconciled.
• Reconciling customer accounts as required
• Accurate and timely posting of payments to customer accounts

• Tasks requiring concentrated auditory or visual attention;
• The need to accommodate work interruptions or distractions while performing repetitive tasks;
• Switching attention between types of sensory input that require concentration;
• Limited capability to control the pace of work or the number of interruptions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3-year college degree
  
  

Experience:

• 3 – 5 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry
