- Sources new sales opportunities nationwide through lead follow-up, cold calls and emails
- Proactively manages territory to increase sales volume and customer retention
- Maintains high level of sales activity at all times by conducting a minimum number of sales appointments
- Works closely with corporate sales team to understand objectives as well as developing and implementing business opportunities and reaching out to new customers
- Creates territory plans, pricing and understands business decisions impact on Mauser Packaging Solutions and the marketplace
- Understands competitor’s products, processes and capabilities, people and manufacturing strategies and strengths; Leverages this knowledge to benefit Mauser Packaging Solutions.
- Meets with customers to build and maintain positive relationships on a regular basis and provides product, pricing and service information.
- Maintains high level of knowledgeability on product and industry trends and updates
- Utilizes Salesforce software daily to update and manage accounts and new business activities
- Reviews performance metrics to ensure achievement of monthly sales, revenue and margin goals.
- Actively attends Sales meetings and Trade Shows to keep current on latest trends and developments in the industry.
- Works well both internally and externally to drive positive solutions for customers and all stakeholders.
- Works with other functions such as engineering and operations to implement changes that improve operational efficiency within Mauser.
