Maviro Inc is seeking applicants for an Environmental Project Manager at our Queensbury NY office.
This applicant must have must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Environmental investigation and remediation services or a related field which includes experience in containment, clean-up, and proper disposal of materials, waste, and debris resulting from spills of petroleum, hazardous wastes or other hazardous materials spills.
The preferred candidate would have experience working with NYS DEC.
Job duties will include, but not limited to, carrying out field tasks for a variety of environmental projects (investigation and remediation of petroleum, hazardous substances, or hazardous waste sites) including logging soils and overseeing drilling operations, documenting tank pulls and soil excavations, and coordinating with clients and regulatory officials. Office tasks, including summarizing and reviewing data, map development and report generation will also be expected.
Seeking an energetic, self-starter/motivator, possesses sound work ethic, is attentive to detail and is capable of multi-tasking. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Applicant must be amenable to overnight travel.
Salary negotiable according to experience.
