Job Summary
Max Cybersecurity LLC is seeking a Risk Analyst to assist with a short-term project in the Washington DC area. The Risk Management Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organization’s financial health and operational effectiveness. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data. The consultant shall evaluate the current ERM framework against industry standards, such as COSO ERM and ISO 31000.
- The consultant shall identify gaps in the existing program and assess its processes, policies, and governance structures. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure that risk management strategies are effectively implemented and monitored.
Duties
- Use a background in COSO and ISO 31000 to evaluate the current ERM of our client. Conduct comprehensive organizational analysis to assess risk exposure and potential impacts on the organization.
- Perform statistical analysis and quantitative research to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Collect and research data relevant to risk management initiatives, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Develop financial models using data modeling techniques to predict potential risk scenarios.
- Prepare detailed financial reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations.
- Negotiate terms with stakeholders to manage risk effectively while aligning with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in Risk Management such as COSO and ISO 31000.
- Strong Risk framework acumen with a solid understanding of risk management principles.
- Proficiency in analysis and experience with quantitative research methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability in risk reporting, writing, and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in data modeling techniques is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with research data collection methods is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
