Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Preparing the treatment room, ensuring it is clean, organized, and equipped with the necessary instruments and supplies.
- Sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments according to infection control guidelines.
- Setting up equipment such as suction devices, dental chairs, X-ray machines, and surgical lights.
- Assisting with oral surgery procedures, including preparing patients and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and comfort level during surgery, ensuring their well-being at all times.
- Handling and disposing of surgical waste and hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Completion of a dental assisting program.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant, particularly in oral surgery.
- Knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instruments, and materials.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety measures.
