Job Description
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for contacting prospective and current customers to solicit sales of Company products and services. This will involve developing maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
Key Responsibilities
* Contact prospective and current customers to solicit sales of Company products and services
* Develop maximum sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses
* Receive customer inquiries and perform follow-up procedures to include providing price quotes, new product information, and receive feedback regarding company products and services
* Travel to customer locations to present company products, services and pricing information in a professional manner
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
* Proven sales experience in paper, dry, refrigerated and frozen food products
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
