About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resource Director with a strong background in manufacturing, union avoidance, and multi-site management. This role will be responsible for overseeing and developing HR strategies that align with operational goals while ensuring compliance and fostering a productive work environment across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic consultation to management on staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and labor relations.
- Develop and manage HR initiatives that support operational goals and company culture.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop assigned HR personnel.
- Partner with local and corporate leadership on employee transactions, including hiring, promotions, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Monitor key HR metrics and identify trends to implement strategic solutions.
- Oversee affirmative action programs, ensuring compliance and execution.
- Plan and manage all HR activities across multiple facilities.
- Implement and update compensation programs and job descriptions as needed.
- Monitor and refine performance evaluation programs.
- Develop and implement HR policies and maintain the employee handbook.
- Manage internal and external training programs and career development initiatives.
- Lead exempt-level recruitment efforts and performance management programs.
- Participate in administrative meetings and industry seminars.
- Maintain organizational charts and evaluate HR practices to improve efficiency.
- Continuously assess and enhance HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing, union avoidance, and multi-site HR leadership.
- Strong background in labor relations, employee engagement, and talent management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and implement strategic improvements.
- Experience managing compensation, performance evaluation, and affirmative action programs.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and best HR practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
