Duties
- Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to understand their automotive needs.
- Utilize strong phone etiquette to handle inbound inquiries and conduct outbound sales calls.
- Demonstrate vehicles to potential buyers, highlighting features and benefits.
- Negotiate sales terms and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Upsell additional products and services that enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information.
- Collaborate with sales support staff to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales or outside sales is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Proficient in math skills for calculating payments, financing options, and trade-in values.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a positive customer relationship.
- Experience in upselling products or services is a plus.
- Familiarity with sales management practices is beneficial but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for test drives and customer interactions.
