What You Do
Visualize actual vs budget cost for designated manufacturing groups. Manage accounts and cost centers for designated shop(s). Support Cost Kaizen activities.
As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:
- Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion
- Collaborate with international team members from Mazda and Toyota or, other customers
- Lead and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cost tracking activities
- Support creation of cost tracking templates and reports
- Support cost kaizen management activities
- Responsible for tracking and visualizing manufacturing actual vs. budget cost
- Lead and support PDCA activity
- Foster strong communications and cross-functional activities between administrative and production shops
- Complete monthly close activities as required
- Create targets for variable cost accounts
- Cross train other specialists as needed
- Support annual, quarterly, and monthly budget and forecast process
- Be available to support ad hoc shop analysis as requested
- Support quarterly and monthly plan vs. actual variance analysis activity
- Support monthly cost Obeya activities as required
- Produce and update weekly leader report for A&F FDMS Board
- Support establishing the foundation of accounting and finance department such as support setting policy, creating templates
- Create standardized work and manuals for the operation and job above
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the department
- Ability to work outside of typical business hours and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
What Will Set You Apart
- 2 years’ relevant experience
- Experience with Major Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) Systems, such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or PeopleSoft Financials
- Degree in a relevant field
- Experience and knowledge of accounting regulations
