What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tenure Track Faculty in Emergency Medical Services position at mbcc-mass?
Maintain a full-time workload that may include teaching in EMT and Paramedicine Programs to include classroom, clinical, laboratory courses, and simulation-based courses.
Prepare syllabi and develop curricula for lectures, laboratory, and simulation settings to address course and program student learning outcomes and Graduation Competencies as appropriate.
Teach effectively in a traditional, hybrid, and/or online environment.
Serve as an academic advisor to students and maintain office hours.
Participate in College, Division, and Program governance inclusive of attending Division, Department, Advisory Committee, and other committee meetings.
Participate in the assessment of course and program learning outcomes.
Maintain a safe environment during skills training and evaluation sessions.
Use technology effectively to communicate with students and colleagues and to enhance classroom learning as appropriate.
Engage in professional development activities to maintain excellence and expertise in classroom/clinical/simulation teaching.
Maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation required by the program and accreditation agencies.
