What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paid Media Specialist position at MBT Marketing?
MBT is looking for a paid media specialist to join our growing digital department. Ideal candidates have direct hands-on experience in paid digital advertising. This position will work closely with the department leads and account managers in supporting our client's paid media efforts, with an emphasis on Google Ads and Meta advertising.
This will be a contract role through Q1 with the potential to become a full-time. The contract roll will be 25-40 hours per week. Hourly compensation range $35-60 per hour depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Launch, track, optimize and report on paid digital media campaigns across multiple channels (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Analyze paid campaign performance to identify opportunities for performance optimizations and account growth on an ongoing basis.
- Set performance benchmark goals and implement testing strategies to drive performance improvements.
- Build new ad accounts and campaigns from the ground-up, including conversion tracking setup, and Google Data Studio report building.
- Pace campaign spend in assigned accounts to ensure media is on budget.
- Participate in regular client, staff and department meetings.
- Execute research on competitors, new tools, features and applications.
- Assist team members in brainstorming and strategy meetings to provide additional opportunities for clients.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns with monthly budgets in excess of $5k per month.
- Strong understanding of PPC digital advertising strategies and tactics, specifically with Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, Video) and Meta (FB/IG) advertising.
- Demonstrable experience creating ad accounts, launching campaigns, and managing and optimizing campaigns across Google and Facebook platforms.
- Have current Google Ads Certification or willing to acquire certification within 3 months of employment.
- Experience conducting A/B tests in paid media to drive performance improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with coworkers and clients, including the ability to communicate effectively, calmly, and courteously under pressure.
- Organized self-starter with the ability to multitask while providing excellent attention to detail.
Bonus Points:
- Experience setting up conversion tracking through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Meta's Event's Manager.
- E-commerce experience (Google Shopping & Facebook/Instagram Shops) a plus.
FTE Benefits (upon full-time hire):
- $50-65K annual salary range, depending on experience.
