What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Manager position at MC Aquatic Construction LLC?
We are a commercial swimming pool company looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in the field. You will be responsible for onsite planning, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects. Daily travel with in the Austin and San Antonio metro areas. Previous experience in construction is required, preferably in pool construction, and/or residential or commercial building construction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct construction projects
- Review the project in-depth to schedule materials
- Oversee all construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Internal and external communication pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Skills
- Proven working experience in construction management
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Excellent time and project management skills
- BS degree preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
