About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversight of all phases of construction, from design coordination and permitting through project execution and closeout.
- Cordination and management of subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure quality and timely performance.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Identification and mitigation of project risks, resolving issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- E nsurance that all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
- Facilitation of project meetings, generation of progress reports, and provision of regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Management of project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and closeout documents.
- E nsurance that all projects meet or exceed client expectations in terms of quality and schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a focus on structural steel and concrete construction.
- ~7 years of project management experience in commercial construction (retail, office, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, etc.).
- ~ Proven track record of managing projects with budgets ranging from $5 million to $50 million .
- ~ Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- ~ Experience managing multiple subcontractors and vendors simultaneously.
- Leadership: Ability to lead diverse project teams and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
