About Us

MC Squared is a professional consulting engineering firm specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, Geo-Environmental, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, and Pavement Design and Management with offices in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Our clients include DOTs, municipalities, state agencies, and large multinational engineering firms. We are retained to provide innovative solutions to complex subsurface issues to support the design of heavy civil infrastructure projects in the Transportation, Water / Wastewater, Tunneling, Dams, and Aviation sectors, and provide cost-effective solutions for structures, commercial developments, and educational institutions. MC Squared has experienced significant year-over-year for the last several years and our current in-house projects and backlog show the trend will continue.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements :

• Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules, guidelines, and company policies. Responsible to create and model a safe work environment and demonstrate safety practices
• Promote pre-task planning for all projects
• Mentor, and develop staff both technically and for leadership roles
• Supervise and manage the progress of all construction services projects to ensure quality and timely deliverables
• Risk assessment and management at all levels including quality assurance of both technical and non-technical aspects of the department including subcontractors / sub-consultants.
• Risk assessment for both conventional and alternate delivery contracts
• Oversight of technical work quality including proposal preparation, management of client meetings, and overall client satisfaction
• Manage the execution of construction services contracts including report review and report preparation, and critical review of field and laboratory test procedures and data
• Contribute to increasing MC Squared’s construction services consulting footprint in the market including supporting marketing and business development staff
• Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Manage quality standards and practices
• Provide technical direction required for production and completion of both routine and complex projects
• Reporting to leadership
• Managing budgets
• Devising strategies to increase productivity and improve operations
• Resolving escalated customer complaints or queries

Education and Related Requirements :
