- Assist the Banquet Manager in overseeing operations, staff, and scheduling for events and functions in a hospitality setting.
- Help to supervise and train banquet staff, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Coordinate with other departments such as the kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure seamless event execution.
- Oversee event spaces, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for use by guests.
- Assist with budget preparation, inventory management, and purchasing of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Help to create event menus, ensuring they meet guest requests and dietary requirements.
- Assist with event planning and execution, including communicating with guests and vendors, and ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Maintain an understanding of trends in the hospitality industry, and provide recommendations and ideas for improvement.
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving during events, ensuring guests have a positive experience.
