Media & Technology Facilitator

TITLE: Media & Technology Facilitator

REPORTS TO: Principal

JOB DESCRIPTION: Support students learning and use of technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must obtain and maintain a AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required).
2. High School diploma or equivalent (required).
3. Exhibited desire and ability to perform the required duties.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Prepare instructional materials.
• Create and maintain a record of each student’s progress on completing technology learning objectives and activities.  
• Meet on a regularly scheduled basis with other technology facilitators and the Technology Integration Specialist.
• Collaborates with the District Technology Integration Specialist  to provide support in the school's use of instructional technology resources to enhance learning • 
• Follows a plan for professional development and actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally 
• Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and talk or hear and sometimes walk and sit.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to fifty (50) pounds, such as boxes, supplies, etc.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus.  The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and to interact with the public and other staff.

EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board policy on evaluation of support staff personnel.

Salary : $21
