Essential Job Functions
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform testing and quality control activities for all batches
- Participate in the development and implementation of department goals, objectives and systems
- Tint paint using computer & current software
- Make additions to batches as needed
- Accurately record and file data & test results
- Check grinds on batches made daily
- Run quality control tests
- Move tanks onto mills
- Pump paint from one tank to another
- Operate forklift in order to retrieve needed raw materials
- Other duties, as assigned
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must possess very solid interpersonal skills & the ability to motivate a diverse group of people.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and create clear concise reports, with basic math skills
- Must be able to lift 65lbs shoulder height on a consistent basis
- Must be able to move 55 gallon drums with cart
- May be required to stand for several hours, working in lab
- Ability to stand for long period of time and work in a Distribution Center / warehouse environment
