What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Services Coordinator position at McGhee Engineering?
McGhee Engineering is a small, family-owned firm that offers planning, design, and construction phase civil engineering services to our clients in Kentucky and Tennessee.
We also provide surveying services, including boundary surveys, subdivisions, topographic and route surveys, and construction staking.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Develop plans and specifications for various water/wastewater projects.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design.
- Conduct hydrology/hydraulic calculations, pump station design, and pipeline design.
- Manage and compile permit and funding applications.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering related to pipeline design, drainage design, and construction permitting.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software suite are also required.
Additionally, the candidate should possess strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design abilities, as well as client management experience.
