Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of McGuireWoods talent acquisition program for business professionals.
- Develops/implements programs, plans, policies and procedures for sourcing and recruitment, candidate experience and employer branding.
- Plans and directs activities of assigned recruiters and coordinator in carrying out such functions as the sourcing of qualified applicants, evaluating applicant qualifications, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews.
- Supervision includes, but is not limited to, interviewing, selecting and training employees, setting and adjusting pay and work hours, preparing and conducting performance appraisals, coaching and counseling and planning/apportioning work among employees.
- Manage senior-level hiring, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and alignment with firm needs.
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of five years of corporate recruiting experience in a large enterprise, multi-office environment with at least three years managing the recruiting function preferably at a law or professional services firm.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Executive presence with the ability to provide strategic counsel to senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of recruiting best practices, including sourcing, selection, and candidate experience.
- Ability to understand and apply HR practices, policies and procedures, as well as exercise working knowledge of EEO, employment and immigration laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft, WebEx, LinkedIn Recruiter, iCIMS (or similar ATS), Adobe and DocuSign including administration functions.
- SHRM or other recruiting/sourcing certifications are a plus.
