Journeyman Meat Cutter
Department: Meat
Location: Coos Bay Area
Job Duties:
Employees will perform a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:
1. Knowledge of cutting, tray packing, wrapping and scaling cuts of assorted meats for retail sales.
2. Checking in and separating assorted freight loads into meat cooler and freezer, stocking shelves, facing and cleaning department.
3. Follow directions from company supervisors, store management and meat department manager.
4. Maintain a pleasant and cheerful demeanor while working with fellow employees and waiting on customers.
Required Skills/Abilities:

4. Prioritize daily department work needs
5. Must be willing to travel
Experience:
previous meat cutting experience, preferred.
Journeyman level, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, twist, kneel, reach, push, pull using proper body mechanics and move/lift varying amounts of weight to a maximum of 100 lbs.
This is a position that is eligible for benefits, and travel pay
