McLeod County seeks a skilled Technical Specialist I to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, preparing, and processing various applications related to Motor Vehicle Titles and Registrations, Minnesota Drivers' Licenses and Identification (I.D.) Cards, Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Recreational (snowmobile, ATV, and boats) Vehicle Titles and Registrations, Game and Fish Licenses, and Vital Statistics/Records.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate documents for compliance with regulations governing authenticity, completeness, consistency, titling requirements, and accuracy.
- Determine, calculate, collect, and receipt appropriate taxes and fees.
- Enforce data privacy with relation to Department of Public Safety records.
- Issue registration stickers and vehicle plates.
- Verify correct conveyance language, transaction status, and record necessary information.
- Balance the cash drawer, reconcile fees, deposit money into the designated account, and submit required State reports.
