Position Overview : As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in the field. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the market, and the ability to identify customer needs. You will be expected to meet sales targets, represent the company in a professional manner, and actively contribute to expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities :
- Client Acquisition & Retention : Prospect and generate new leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and attending trade shows or industry events. Cultivate relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations : Conduct in-person presentations, product demonstrations, and meetings with potential clients to introduce our products or services. Develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and close sales.
- Sales Targets & Reporting : Achieve sales targets and quotas as defined by the company. Regularly report on sales progress, market trends, and competitor activity. Track and record all sales activities in CRM software.
- Product Knowledge & Industry Research : Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to effectively position the company’s solutions.
- Customer Service & Support : Provide post-sale support, address customer concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the product / service.
- Travel : Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and pursue new business opportunities.
