WHAT THIS ROLE ENTAILS :

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with the flexibility to travel regularly throughout your assigned territory. As our Commercial Sales Associate - HVAC Estimator, you will be in charge of designing, estimating, and managing HVAC projects from start to finish. Every day will bring exciting challenges as you oversee remodels, retrofits, and new construction projects. You'll estimate project needs, coordinate with contractors, and ensure everything aligns with budget and timelines. By building strong partnerships with customers and suppliers, you'll achieve sales and gross margin targets while providing exceptional value and service. From conducting assessments and developing proposals to attending bid strategy meetings and overseeing post-construction reviews, you'll be at the heart of every project's success.

What We Need From You :

Experience performing detailed take-offs from drawings

Extensive building systems knowledge, including electrical, plumbing, piping, duct work, and installation

Knowledge of commercial building codes for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical

Knowledge of the construction process (RFI, RFP, change orders, etc.)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and estimating software

Ability to read and understand drawings, prepare RFPs, solicit subcontractors, and price material and equipment

Ability to work with general contractors, architects, and engineers on design-build projects, which include budgeting and pricing

Ability to influence customer's key decision-makers

Flexibility to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong interpersonal skills

Highly self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications :

2 years of direct sales experience in commercial HVAC

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR a master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience
