HR Coordinator
Position Summary :
As a member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team, the HR Coordinator will have the opportunity to enhance and improve the way MCPC shapes its culture in multiple areas. The selected individual will be part of a group effort to provide the highest level of internal service possible across multiple site locations.
This position resolves benefits-related problems as part of the group, ensures the effective use of plans and fosters positive employee relationships.
The HR Coordinator makes certain that tasks are administered in accordance with federal and state policies. This role also provides administrative support to the various disciplines of the full HR function as needed.
This includes record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry and more. This person would need to be able to function successfully as an individual contributor and at times as an agile team member.
The ideal candidate should be coachable, proactive, and display promise as a strategic thinker.
Responsibilities :
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, maintains I-9 files and submits E-Verify.
- Assists with processing of terminations.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process and conducting investigations.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Leader of the HCM group.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files in partnership with the immediate HR and HCM teams.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares new employee files.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
