What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Manager position at MDL?
Regional Manager - Americas
The Regional Manager - Americas is responsible for driving revenue growth within MDL's existing portfolio of clients in the Americas, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve significant revenue growth across both MDL business units: Flex Lay Solutions and Engineering Solutions
- Develop and implement a regional business development and sales strategy for the Americas
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing key accounts at senior levels to deliver revenue targets
- Cultivate customer awareness of service offerings through regular communication and engagement
- Build a pipeline of project opportunities across all business units
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to close, including corporate pitches, negotiations, and deal closure
- Collaborate with the Contracts Manager to finalize client contract negotiations
- Analyze client and market data to inform targeted sales approaches
- Utilize Salesforce software to manage sales administration and pipeline
- Report sales activities on a weekly basis
Requirements:
- Prior experience in business development, commercial, and results-oriented focus
- Proven ability to collaborate and execute business development strategies globally
- Consistent track record of successfully achieving and exceeding budgets
- Strong skills in negotiating and influencing clients, with attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and prioritize critical tasks and objectives
