Job Description:
As the Director of Talent and Culture at Meade Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the company's people strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, employee engagement, professional development, and culture-building initiatives. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will ensure that Meade Engineering attracts, retains, and nurtures top-tier talent while fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-caliber professionals in the engineering and construction industries.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Champion company culture by creating and executing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR and talent strategies with Meade Engineering's overall business objectives.
- Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and career progression.
- Establish and manage HR policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Design and execute competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Foster an environment of continuous feedback, coaching, and recognition to drive employee performance and satisfaction.
- Analyze workforce data to provide insights and recommendations for improving retention, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, managers, and employees on talent-related matters, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in human resources, talent management, or organizational development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing talent strategies in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics for talent management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strategic vision for the company's workforce.
- Experience in an engineering, construction, or technical consulting firm is a plus.
