The Parts Division is seeking an experienced Controller to support our growing business. The position is located in our Clifton Park, NY facility with overall controllership oversight for the Clifton Park location, two factories (located outside Columbus OH and Cleveland OH), and a field service crew that travels to customer work sites.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
- Work closely with Operations Leaders, including Parts Division VP, on strategies and opportunities to grow business
- Support the month-end close process.
- Analyze job margins, as bid vs as executed
- Detail level analysis of job costs to assist in bidding process
- Track and forecast production hours and monthly overheads
- Review invoicing and manage milestone billing
- Prepare and review account reconciliations
- Prepare annual budgets
- Identify risks and areas of improvement in internal processes and controls
- Implement and utilize technology tools to create efficiencies and data accuracy
- Manage the ERP system inputs, upgrades, and IT improvement projects for the division
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA, Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
- Minimum 4-7 years’ experience.
- Proven track record of leading & managing a team.
- Inventory, Manufacturing and Distribution accounting experience
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a timely fashion and with high-quality output
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Self-identifies areas of need and takes initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables & V- Lookups) and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and drive standardized processes
- Knowledge and/or experience with ERP systems such as Epicor Kinetic
- Experience with SQL and Power BI/Tableau Development a plus
- Experience in a services or manufacturing environment
- Experience working in multi-location environments with colleagues in different locations; cities/states/countries

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
