Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Programmer/Activities Coordinator to join our team at SCHOOL SECTION LAKE VETERANS PARK. The Programmer/Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, ensuring their successful implementation from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Duties:
-Plan and execute family-friendly crafts and outdoor activities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including audiovisual needs, and entertainment
- Develop event timelines
- Collaborate with park managers to plan events and discuss objectives and preferences
- Create supply list
- Coordinate event setup and breakdown, including arranging seating, decorations and equipment
- Oversee event operations on the day of the event to ensure smooth execution
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Experience:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in event management software and tools
