Job Description
We are hiring a highly skilled Emergency Medical Services Director to lead our team of air transportation experts. As a Flight Nurse, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Your expertise in emergency medical services and critical care will enable you to assess each situation, utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient, and support physicians' orders.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency nursing, with experience in transporting patients by air. You will be responsible for taking pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintaining regular equipment and base checks, and complying with safety standards and briefings.
Key Requirements:
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification in state(s) where required.
