What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist Supervisor position at Medallus Medical Urgent Care?
Be part of a growing diverse team in a Hybrid Near Site Urgent Care Setting. Medallus Medical is excited to be joining the community and welcoming all Mandan Public School employees/families who carry the school insurance free access to the clinic. Along with this we will be open to the general public and accept all major insurance carriers. As part of the new clinic opening approximately 2 weeks of training will be required at our home office in Jamestown, ND. Paid travel and stay will be offered to those offered to join our team.
Summary: Operates multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls ,directs callers to appropriate personnel, registering patients, inputting patient data into the EHR, and by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Answers telephone, responds to inquiries, directs caller to appropriate personnel, and initiates triage slips for response by medical personnel.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate. Makes appropriate changes in computer system and on patient's chart.
- Greets and directs patients, sales people, and visitors.
- Schedules appointments and enters appointment date, time and reason for being seen into computerized scheduler updates appointment calendars.
- Takes payments for services and products. Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
