Overview:
The HealthySteps Specialist is an early child development professional who will join the Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas Clinic to provide interventions, referrals, and follow-up for families with 0-3 year-old patients for social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes integrated behavioral health and evidence-based pediatric intervention within the primary care practice.
- Coordinates medical, specialty, and community agency appointments as needed.
- Develops and maintains relationships with community providers of health and social services.
- Provides training to medical professionals and practice staff on early childhood development, relational health, and trauma-informed practice.
Requirements:
- Current Arkansas Professional License in Social Work.
- Master's Degree in Social Work.
- Pediatric behavioral or developmental work experience.
