The Digital Marketing Manager will strategize, implement, and manage MBF’s digital presence. This role focuses on enhancing engagement with donors, partners, and stakeholders through innovative and impactful digital campaigns, content creation, and social media strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Christ-based nonprofit work, highly skilled in digital marketing, well versed in today’s latest technologies, including but not limited to AI, and experienced in creating compelling online experiences that drive awareness and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy to support MBF’s mission, fundraising goals, and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership and departments to create integrated digital campaigns for events, donor appeals, and program awareness.
- Use data-driven insights to refine digital strategies and enhance performance.
Website Management
- Oversee and maintain MBF’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly, engaging, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Regularly update website content, including blogs, donor stories, and program impact reports.
- Collaborate with external vendors and designers for significant website enhancements or troubleshooting.
Social Media Management
- Manage MBF’s social media presence across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Plan, schedule, and publish engaging posts that highlight MBF’s impact, campaigns, and donor stories.
- Monitor engagement metrics and respond to audience interactions to foster community relationships.
Content Creation
- Develop compelling content for digital platforms, including graphics, videos, email campaigns, and newsletters.
- Write and edit copy for digital communications, ensuring alignment with MBF’s mission and branding.
- Leverage storytelling to communicate the impact of MBF’s work on lives and communities.
Email Marketing and Fundraising
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns to inform and engage donors and prospects.
- Work with the Development team to create online giving campaigns, including Giving Tuesday and other key appeals.
- Use email segmentation and automation to optimize outreach and donor engagement.
Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyze digital performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- Provide regular reports to leadership on key metrics, trends, and campaign results.
- Use insights to adjust strategies and improve digital effectiveness.
Collaboration and Training
- Collaborate with team members on communications, donor relations, and program promotion strategies.
- Train staff or volunteers in essential digital tools and social media best practices.
General Marketing Responsibilities
In addition to digital marketing tasks, the Digital Marketing Manager will contribute to broader marketing efforts to enhance the organization's visibility and impact. These responsibilities include:
- Event Marketing: Help plan and promote events such as fundraisers, community outreach initiatives, and donor appreciation events.
- Print Media Coordination: Develop and oversee the production of printed marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, annual reports, and direct mail campaigns.
- Stakeholder Communication: Work with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including in-person meetings, presentations, and printed communications.
- Brand Management: Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all online and offline touchpoints.
- Internal Communications: Support staff engagement by creating materials for internal use, such as newsletters, staff memos, and training resources.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Social Sprout).
- Expertise in SEO, SEM, and Google Ads.
- Graphic design and video editing skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on data insights.
