Key Responsibilities :
As an Engineer Intern, you will :
- Follow our Quality Management System and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with all projects.
- Engage in the development and engineering of disposable medical devices from concept to production.
- Participate in hands-on product and process development, including the design and prototyping of catheters and other disposable products.
- Utilize SolidWorks to design devices and construct prototypes in our state-of-the-art laboratory environment.
- Collaborate on designing catheter-based delivery systems for various medical disciplines, including cardiology, neurology, and urology.
- Support the acquisition, setup, and qualification of new equipment, contributing to the creation of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers about project status, timelines, and any issues that arise.
- Prepare and assist in product development and quality planning, including project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Participate in feasibility and reliability testing plans for catheter systems, developing and validating in-vitro and in-vivo models.
- Assist in the development of pilot and manufacturing equipment and procedures, supporting the transition of projects to full-scale production.
