Role Overview:
As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our office functions smoothly by supporting our team with client communications, data entry, office management, and providing assistance with dog training records. You will help us keep track of client inquiries, assist with supply management, and maintain the organization of daily office operations. This role is vital in helping us provide quality service to our clients and maintain the high standards we set for our service dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Client Inquiries: Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding service dog training, programs, and general questions.
- Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client information, dog progress, training schedules, and behavioral data.
- Supply Management: Assist in ordering and tracking office and dog training supplies.
- Administrative Support: Handle general office duties including filing, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and organizing documents.
- Communication: Assist with client communication and coordination between trainers, clients, and other team members.
- Team Support: Collaborate with trainers to ensure smooth operations of training sessions and maintain organized files.
Requirements:
- Dog Training Knowledge: A basic understanding of dog training and behavior is required. Previous experience working with service dogs or in dog training is a plus.
- Customer Service & Office Experience: Experience in administrative or customer-facing roles, with a focus on organization and efficiency.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials.
Compensation:
- $18/hour
