JOB TITLE: Engineering Technician

Medicreations LLC is an aesthetic device manufacturer with a production facility, right here in Las Vegas. We design advanced medical-grade devices that assist physicians, estheticians, and salon owners to deliver stunning transformations to people who want to look and feel better.
We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to support the engineering staff primarily in R&D and product development efforts through prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and research of advanced medical and aesthetic devices in our facility here in town.
You must have a strong willingness to learn, an eye for detail, and the ability to take pride in what you build. Ideally, you’d have a background in consumer electronics repair – but more broadly we need people who aren’t afraid to solder, assemble, and disassemble fairly complex devices. The actual details of what you need to build (and how) will be taught on-the-job via our Quality Control Procedures and Methods.

Duties and responsibilities would include:
● Build and test mechanical and electrical prototypes, with direction from engineering staff, including plastic disposables, printed circuit board assemblies, and test fixtures
● Aid in the transfer of manufacturing processes to production staff
● Performance Bench testing of mechanical and electrical prototypes
● Work under our Leads Systems Engineer to contribute to development on our Aesthetic Device Line
● Testing activities including electrical, and other product performance related testing
Qualifications
● PCB Assembly Experience
○ Able to solder surface mount components (0402's, fine pitch quad packs)
○ Familiarity with common resistor and capacitor values, IC’s, transistors, diodes, etc.
● Competent with standard machine shop tools, including drills, mills, tapping
● Able to self-direct and stay on track with multiple concurrent assignments/projects
● Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, personal computers
● Ability to understand and follow electrical schematics
● Ability to troubleshoot simple analog circuits, or willingness to learn
● Ability to organize and maintain work area for efficient use
● Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience
Physical Demands:
● Ability to work long hours and execute under pressure with short turnaround time
● Ability to speak, write, and use all office equipment including scanner and printer, phone, computer, Etc.
● Ability to lift up to 30lbs
