We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, client-focused, and possess deep knowledge of the commercial property insurance market. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage client accounts with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insured clients, managing day-to-day communications with professionalism and clarity.
- Issue certificates of insurance and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.
- Handle lender communications to ensure coverage is compliant with loan terms and requirements.
- Prepare Acord forms, Schedules of Values (SOVs), and other necessary documentation for clients.
- Negotiate with E&S (Excess & Surplus) wholesalers and insurance carriers to secure favorable terms for our clients.
- Ensure proper placement of insurance policies and handle mid-term service requests (e.g., endorsements, renewals).
- Provide excellent client service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues related to coverage, billing, or claims.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality service to our clients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager in the insurance industry, with a focus on commercial property insurance.
- Deep understanding of commercial property coverage, general liability, and excess liability policies.
- Experience working with apartment portfolios, retail centers, and other property owners is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Acord forms, SOVs, and related documentation.
- Experience negotiating with E&S wholesalers and carriers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in agency management systems and standard office software.
