How you will make an impact:
The Hollow Fiber Filter Production Operator assists in the production of Hollow Fiber Filter cartridges for pharmaceutical industries according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role also requires very high attention to detail and process instructions.
- Work closely to train and oversee the work of filter production technicians.
- Ensure product schedules, and quality targets are met and provides supervisor/manager with timely feedback on discrepancies displaying urgency when required.
- Monitor workflow to ensure standard work techniques are being followed to in order to complete the work safely.
- Maintain good morale and performance standards/expectations as well as identify and communicate opportunities for improvement with manager/supervisor.
- Read and understand training on SOPs to correctly perform necessary manufacturing operations.
- Adjust machine settings according to SOPs.
This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
The skills and experience youll need:
- 2-5 years of experience within a manufacturing role, requiring high attention to detail and closely following process parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to record production results.
- Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
- Filter Production Skills are trained by Meissner Personnel. No other training is required.
- A personal commitment to produce the highest quality product possible is essential.
Work Environment
Hollow Fiber Filter Production is performed in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Shorts, skirts, loose or baggy clothing is not permitted. Socks and closed shoes are required. Makeup, other than skin moisturizers, is not permitted. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette, and these particles will damage our filter products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.

US BASE PAY SCALE $20.00 - $23.00/hr
The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
