MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking a TEMPEST Specialist to support federal government clients. The specialist will conduct TEMPEST inspections, assist with instrumented testing, document findings, and support risk mitigation efforts. This role requires independent work as well as collaboration within a team to ensure compliance with TEMPEST requirements. Travel may be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct Visual TEMPEST inspections independently or as part of a team.
- Assist with instrumented testing under the guidance of a certified engineer.
- Document inspection and testing activities in accordance with established guidelines.
- Support the development of inspection reports and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintain records and data related to TEMPEST activities.
- Assist in the creation of test plans and acquisition of necessary inspection information.
- Ensure compliance with government contracting requirements, including reporting and travel guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret technical information and apply it effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Formal TEMPEST training preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, with the potential for a Top Secret clearance if required.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with TEMPEST equipment and procedures.
- Previous government contracting experience.
- Active security clearance preferred.
LOCATION: This is a full-time position with opportunities in multiple locations across the United States and requires the ability to travel. This position is contingent upon contract award.
