Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team as a PRN. The successful candidate will provide professional and direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with other members of the health care delivery team, including physicians, to assure quality health care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient comfort, safety, respect, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate effective therapeutic communication skills with patients, caregivers, and family members.
- Assess patient needs and formulate a plan of treatment with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - ACLS and NRP certification.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a related field.
