Overview
Provides secretarial and administrative support services to Affiliate Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Director, and Nurse Managers as assigned. Functions as a team member to promote effective communication with all hospital departments. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Quality, Integrity and Stewardship that support our mission, vision and values.
Qualifications
Education:
· High School diploma required.
· Office Administration courses preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
· N/A
Experience:
· Previous clerical and receptionist’s skills preferred.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Demonstrates ability to organize and manage functions of an office including use of computer and other office equipment. Ability to take minutes utilizing medical terminology.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, solid communication skills both written and verbal, demonstrates skills in telephone etiquette, exhibits customer service skills, demonstrates initiative to complete work with minimal supervision, ability to work under pressure and multitask.
· Neat, well-groomed appearance and have a pleasant personality and voice.
· Previous clerical and receptionist’s skills preferred.
