Works under general direction to support an organization or department by performing administrative and secretarial services for the IT Department. Assists management with administrative tasks, such as tracking and compiling information of interest.
- Performs a full range of administrative work for multiple programs and projects for the IT Department.
- Types, edits, and proofs correspondence and memos; coordinates travel arrangements; maintains calendars; and duplicates and distributes materials.
- Receives and responds to phone calls, incoming visitors, and correspondence on behalf of the IT Department.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of reports, records, correspondence, and files related to assigned services, activities, and operations. Provides appropriate research and compiles reports, as needed.
- Identifies issues or problems and seeks alternative solutions consistent with the applicable regulations.
- Attends trainings, meetings, workshops, or seminars, as necessary, to enhance job-related knowledge and skills.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
