We’re located in San Felasco Tech City in beautiful Alachua, Florida. With years of experience in residential, commercial, and infrastructure planning, along with grant procurement services, engineering, water resources and environmental consulting, geomatics, contract administration, construction management, and construction engineering & inspection (CEI), Menadier Engineering is structured to serve our clients from start to finish. Typical projects involve private sector site/civil design for residential, commercial, and industrial site development. Other projects include public capital improvement projects such as utility expansions, roadway design, and parks & recreation support.
We are currently searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our growing demand. Self- motivation, the ability to collaborate with multiple team members, and project flexibility are imperative in our work environment. It is not uncommon to manage several projects at one time while meeting established deadlines. Education, Experience, Licensure, and Skills:
- High School diploma required, Associate or Bachelor’ degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional engineering or similar field
- Excellent working knowledge of the suite of Microsoft Office and Adobe programs
- Ability to assist with marketing and public outreach
- Engineering, Surveying, and/or Construction experience a plus
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities and Minimum Expectations:
- Must have a strong work ethic, detail oriented and excellent time management skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to coordinate with clients via phone, email, in-person and written correspondence
- Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to various tasks and changing demands
- Ability to work independently and establish administrative guidelines for our company
- Create engineering memorandums, letters, and various reports
- Schedule client meetings and prepare meeting materials
- Maintain electronic and hard copy files
- Assist the owner in scheduling, organizing, and managing his meeting/travel schedule
- Hold a high level of confidentiality in regard to proprietary company data
- Keep the office and common areas tidy and in a presentable condition
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Perform other office duties as needed
