Job Summary
Mental Health America-Wabash Valley Region seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee Peer Navigator Recovery Specialists providing stabilization, emotional support, and goal setting to individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Supervision
- Supervise Peer Navigator Recovery Specialists, guiding best practices, case management, and crisis intervention.
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision to ensure adherence to program requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback.
Quality Assurance
- Audit clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze data to evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement data-driven recommendations.
Community Engagement
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Attend stakeholder and community meetings to identify opportunities for MHA-WV support.
Training and Development
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for staff.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and community education.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage staff schedules, disciplinary issues, and performance evaluations.
- Complete timely reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Addiction Sciences, Mental Health, Psychology, Public Health, Human Services, or Social Work.
Certifications
- LAC or CADCII or higher.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Proficient in case management software and Microsoft.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience in mental health or substance abuse services.
