Responsibilites

The tasks include, but are not limited to

• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and design scalable data products. This involves creating data architecture blueprints, selecting appropriate technologies, and defining data flow and integration patterns.
• Data Modeling: Develop data models that capture the structure, relationships, and constraints of the organization's data. This includes designing logical and physical data models, establishing naming conventions, and ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Data Integration: Design and implement strategies for integrating data from various sources, both internal and external. This may involve creating Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform(ELT) processes, establishing data pipelines, and ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Data Storage and Management: Determine the most suitable data storage technologies and structures, such as databases, data lakes, or data warehouses, based on the organization's requirements. Develop strategies for data partitioning, replication, and backup to ensure data availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in data processing and analysis workflows. Optimize data queries, indexing, and caching mechanisms to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Data Security and Governance: Define and implement data security and governance policies to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and establish access controls, encryption measures, and data masking techniques.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay informed about emerging data technologies and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend suitable tools, frameworks, and platforms to support the organization's data needs and objectives.
• Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and consultation on data-related matters. Work closely with business units to understand their requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Documentation and Communication: Document data architecture designs, data flows, and system configurations. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with advancements in data technologies, best practices, and industry standards. Continuously enhance data architecture and solutions to meet evolving business needs
  
  

Qualifikationen

Education: University degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years of hands experience as a Solution Architect/ Data Architect
• Experience in datawarehouse/ datalake/ datamarts design and large scale deployment
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Hive Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools, such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience working with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Knowledge of cloud-based data storage, compute, and analytics services
• 3 years of Hands On Technical Administrative experience in Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong experience with popular database programming like Python, Scala, SQL etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex data-related challenges. Capability to design innovative solutions and optimize data workflows

• Travel domestically and internationally as needed
