The Associate Wealth Advisor will work with a team of Senior Wealth Advisors and Wealth Solutions Experts to provide wealth management solutions to our UHNW clients. In partnership with a Sr. Wealth Advisor, the Associate Wealth Advisor plays an integral part of our team that combines multiple aspects of the wealth management business with a focus on exceptional client service.

The Associate Wealth Advisor will work with a team of Senior Wealth Advisors and Wealth Solutions Experts to provide wealth management solutions to our UHNW clients. In partnership with a Sr. Wealth Advisor, the Associate Wealth Advisor plays an integral part of our team that combines multiple aspects of the wealth management business with a focus on exceptional client service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Analysis/Strategy
- Run analyses on key planning and investment decisions
- Analyze balance sheets, concentrated positions, and investment objectives
- Develop customized financial strategies for clients in partnership with senior leadership
- Provide customized holistic wealth management services designed to meet the unique needs of each client based on an internally developed process
- Provide strategic balance sheet advice through assisting with the creation of customized goals-based investment plans for clients and prospects
- Ensure financial plan and all reporting are continually updated
- Track the strategy and ensure follow through on all action items
- Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing clients, while working towards bringing in new clients
- Prepare pitch books, meeting materials, and process manage client meeting preparation on behalf of the Advisor.
- Support all follow up actions from meetings
- Act as a liaison between Client, Client Service Specialists, Advisors, and Wealth Solutions experts to ensure we’re delivering on our promises
- Act as second chair in client meetings along with Senior Wealth Advisors and other experts.
- Perform due diligence on asset and sub-asset classes, geographic regions, investment managers, and individual investments in guiding strategic and tactical asset allocation recommendations
- Conduct research on client accounts and industry trends
- Other duties requested and assigned by Manager
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance related)
- At least 2 to 4 years of job-related experience
- Series 65 required, or willing to obtain one within first 3 months of employment
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of the industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts
- Superior communication skills, with the ability to effectively present investment, finance, and tax planning solutions to clients
- Advanced knowledge of the economic landscape/general understanding of impact on the Firm and clients
- Experience utilizing financial planning software
- Expert at collaboration and willing to help others
- Sales aptitude and experience is preferred
- An entrepreneurial spirit and growth-mindset, with a positive attitude that contributes to a positive work environment
- Strong core understanding of our investments and ISG, along with the ability to perform asset allocation and analysis for portfolio reviews
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements
- Ability to travel up to 20% as required for client meetings, company training, etc.
