We are currently recruiting an Associate Director, Global Marketing –Scientific Strategy for our company's Oncology Portfolio of products. The Associate Director, Global Marketing will join a fast-paced and dynamic team in Global Oncology to help shape and drive commercial strategy to effectively communicate the science behind our brands.
This position will report to the Director, of Global Scientific Communication Strategy and will require an ability to translate complex scientific information into clear end-to-end strategies based on future cross portfolio growth opportunities and competitive landscape changes.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
Scientific Communications Promotions: work with Medical Affairs, Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence (CORE) and Disease Teams to determine concise, simple and effective communications of scientific narratives, real world evidence and other relevant scientific topics
Collaborate across multiple stakeholders in Global Oncology and cross-functionally with our company's Research Laboratories and other commercial teams to realize consistent scientific communications across the organization.
Partner, co-create, and share best scientific communications practices with regions and markets Lead global marketing social listening strategy including congress and TIER 1 data coordinated across teams/divisions and regions partnering with Digital Marketing Commercial Excellence (DMCE) Social Listening team.
Enhance use of data and analytics to measure key activities.
Lead annual planning process, budget management, vendor expense management for the Scientific Strategy Communication team
Effectively source and work with agency partners for scientific driven projects.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:
Strong oncology and scientific acumen
Minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical experience
Minimum of 3 years Oncology Experience
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and bold strategies
Proven ability to interpret and synthesize complex scientific principles.
Excels when addressing ambiguity, working outside existing processes or structures.
Strong Communication and large complex project management skills.
Ability to establish networks across stakeholders to drive influence and alignment
Test and learn mindset to drive culture of innovation
Committed to applying agile values, principles, and practices
Requires approximately 25% travel, including some weekends.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in oncology medical affairs or global marketing preferred.
Early brand development experience
Digital Innovations around scientific data
