This is a great opportunity for you to make a significant impact in a growing company within the industrial door sector. They will consider a technical industrial door engineer who is looking to move into sales. This company have won major blue chip multi-million-pound projects in bespoke specialised high speed door systems. Selling into manufacturing, the earning potential is massive moreover once you have proven yourself, they will need a sales manager/ Sales Director for the UK and Europe.
Role Overview:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a comprehensive portfolio of industrial doors throughout the South of England. You'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to sales inquiries, conducting site visits to present, advise, and survey.
• Develop product knowledge and best practices for site surveys.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers.
• Liaise with clients on all aspects of contracts and terms.
• Achieve sales targets and budgets.
• Communicate effectively across various channels (phone, face-to-face, email, social media).
• Create and implement personal business plans aligned with company strategy.
• Report all activities, particularly on CRM systems.
• Exclusively promote and sell supporting products.
• Provide field intelligence and marketing material for planning purposes
Qualifications and Skills:
• Proven track record in industrial sales, preferably in the Door industry.
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
• Experience in B2B sales.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
