Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with the flexibility to respond to crises as needed.
Job Summary: The Housing Solutions Supervisor is responsible for leading and motivating a team of 5-8 Housing Solutions Case Managers while maintaining a small caseload. This role includes conducting needs assessments, creating and implementing housing stability and service plans, providing support, referrals, and advocacy for program residents. The supervisor ensures positive behavioral changes, identifies obstacles to housing stability, and promotes trauma-informed, client-focused strategies within the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client/Service Delivery
- Manage a caseload of 5-7 clients, ensuring their needs are met in accordance with grant requirements.
- Implement harm reduction strategies to provide client-centered services and maintain housing stability.
- Use crisis prevention and intervention techniques when necessary.
- Assist residents in identifying their strengths and needs respectfully.
- Conduct apartment inspections to ensure proper maintenance.
- Stay informed about community resources and make relevant referrals.
- Foster positive relationships between clients and landlords/caretakers.
- Ensure case files are accurate and up to date, including stabilization plans and case notes.
- Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner to ensure payment from funding sources.
- Assist with data collection as needed.
Team Management
- Supervise 5-7 Housing Solutions Case Managers to ensure high performance.
- Lead and promote team cohesion, aligning with the agency's mission and core values.
- Train and mentor new Case Managers, offering guidance on day-to-day responsibilities.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of case files to ensure accurate and current documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to Case Managers when needed.
- Coordinate and conduct training and orientation sessions as required.
- Meet with individual staff at least monthly, and hold monthly team meetings.
- Complete 90-day, midyear, and annual performance reviews for team members.
- Approve staff Absence from Work requests and Paycom submissions in a timely manner.
- Approve monthly mileage reimbursement requests.
Miscellaneous
- Assist the Program Manager in overseeing social and recreational activities to enhance community involvement and peer support.
- Support the Program Manager in linking residents with services such as employment, education, tutoring, and mentoring.
- Attend staff and community meetings as required.
- Participate in relevant training to increase knowledge in areas such as co-occurring disorders, harm reduction, and cultural competence.
- Stay informed on Adult Rehabilitative, Mental Health Services, and Substance Abuse Treatments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (or related field) is preferred, with experience in recovery, mental health, or co-occurring disorders.
- Candidates without a BA/BS but with at least 2 years of experience working with long-term homeless, low-income, and diverse populations, and a strong understanding of mental health and addiction issues, are encouraged to apply.
- Must have a high level of tolerance and understanding for individuals with complex and urgent needs.
- Management experience is a plus.
