Job Summary
The Rental Manager/Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the rental operations of our vacation rental homes. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of maintenance management, billing/payment management and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will manage all maintenance, coordinate maintenance schedules with our vendors and service providers, and oversee and manage cleaners across 50 homes in the Berkshires. Strong organizational and task management skills are required, along with a basic understanding of how to troubleshoot maintenance at properties. Some accounting work is also part of the job, so experience with this is also critical.
Responsibilities
- Manage the rental inventory, ensuring all homes are maintained and ready for our guests and owners.
- Oversee guest maintenance issues, troubleshooting and organizing repairs when necessary.
- Utilize online systems such as Guesty, Breezeway, and Google Sheets.
- Lead a team of technicians and cleaners, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Implement facilities management best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
