Position Overview:
The Punch Out Project Manager is responsible for managing final project tasks, ensuring all punch list items are completed efficiently and up to quality standards. This role requires a combination of fieldwork, hands-on carpentry or finishing skills, scheduling coordination, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute punch out and final close-out phases of residential/commercial projects
- Perform or coordinate completion of minor repairs, touch-ups, and corrections on interior and exterior finishes
- Identify and track punch list items, ensuring completion on schedule and to quality standards
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to manage timelines and resources
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all final details meet project specifications and client expectations
- Provide regular updates to project managers and clients on punch list progress
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in construction, carpentry, or related project management roles
- Strong knowledge of interior and exterior finishes, including drywall, paint, trim, cabinetry, doors, and hardware
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
